In 2012, I entered the New Zealand National Ball Gown Competition. All applicants were required to be least 18 years old to enter the competition and submit a sketch of ball gown that is appropriate to to wear for school prom. Also, finalists were required to sew their ball gowns and attend the fashion show in their gowns. I was the first  15 year old student that won 3rd place in this competition from my high school, John Paul College.
